OUR FOUNDER

Maria Dueñas Jacobs is a former fashion editor and entrepreneur who brings her fresh, luxury-informed perspective to the children’s market.

Maria was inspired to create Super Smalls while watching her three young, curious, gem-loving kids obsess over her collection of fine jewels: fun to look at, but not made for play. This felt like a problem Maria was perfectly suited to tackle. Combining her love for refined, beautiful and ornate objects with her passion for all things kid-centric, Maria launched Super Smalls in 2019.

Throughout her career and time as a mom, Maria has been powered by her resourcefulness, charisma and a belief that if you can dream it, you can do it. Exactly the kind of thinking that powers the Super Smalls magic.
